When should I make my reservation?
To avoid disappointment the sooner the better! 
Renting is always based on availability, so it's always in your best interest to book as far ahead as possible.

What is required to reserve my items?
We require a 50% deposit of balance owing to ensure your items are reserved. 
The security deposit guarantees items are available to you for your rental period. 
Your booking deposit is applied to the total of your rental bill.
For all rentals we require a credit card kept in a encrypted file.

Are my items reserved without a deposit?
Unfortunately, the ONLY way we can assure item availablity is with a deposit.

When do I pay the balance?
The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to rental date.

What type of payments do you accept?
For your convenience we accept Cash, Interac, Visa, Mastercard, Cheque and E-Transfer. 
For all rentals we require a credit card kept in a encrypted file.

How long do I have the items I rent?
Rental rates are based on a 4 day rental—the day before your event, the day of your event, a day to rest, and returned the next business day following your event.
 Extra days are available, please call for more information.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?
Yes. Additions are welcome, based upon availability. Reductions and cancellations are permitted up 14 days prior to rental date with full refund on amended items. Full rental cost is charged if cancellation occurs less than 14 days prior to rental date.
Tents and Dance Floors require 30 day notice for refund of deposit.

Is there a charge for delivery/pick up?
Yes, our Delivery fee includes Pick Up and our service is available for ALL orders regardless of size. ONE reasonable charge depending on the delivery area and amount of items rented.

Can we pick up and drop off our own order?
Yes. Your items will be located at one of our loading areas for easy access.
We will make every effort to assist you with loading and unloading, however during peak season our staff may be engaged in loading and unloading for deliveries.
Customers who choose to do their own pick-up and delivery are responsible for any damage that may occur during transportation of your rental items.

What time of day can I expect delivery/pick up?
Each of our trucks has many stops during one day. While consideration will be given to customer requests, we can provide a “ballpark” time but cannot guarantee exactly when your delivery will arrive. 
Customers may call on the day of the delivery for the most up-to-date scheduling information.

Do I need to be home when delivery arrives?
If you know you will not be home, please call our office with instructions as to where the items are to be left. If you are not home and we have no instructions we can not leave items and this will cause a delay and an extra cost to you for rescheduling a truck.​

What can I expect when my delivery arrives?
Rates quoted for delivery/pickup orders based on ground floor delivery from our door to your door. Please advise us if there are any stairs or obstacles that would make delivery difficult for our wheeled carts.
Our personnel are instructed to neatly stack all items in a mutually convenient place, free from the possibility of theft and elements. We provide special containers for china, silverware, glassware and items to ensure that you receive your items sanitized, undamaged, sparking and table ready.

Is Setup and Takedown included in rental rate?
No. The Set Up of our items is not included in the delivery fee. However, you can request this service at time of placing the order and we will gladly accommodate you. ​

Do my items need to be returned clean?
Absolutely not, that is one of the beauties of renting.
All we ask is that Plates, Cutlery, Glasses, all items be returned to their original crates. 
Linen free of food debris and placed in laundry bag provided.
We have an onsite full scale sanitization system to handle the dishes and the laundry.

What if I don't use all my items?
Once items are rented they have been rendered unavailable to other clients. Unfortunately full rental fees apply whether you use the items or not.​

What if my order is incorrect?
At Always Invited Event Rentals we take enormous pride in our quality control system. However, there is a human factor and we can make mistakes. Please verify that all your items are there and if a discrepancy is found in your order contact us immediately and we will make sure it is rectified promptly as we cannot accept quantity disputes after an event is completed 
Our emergency number is 250.218.5419 and is provided with every rental.

On occasions a client has forgotten to add items. We will also be there to help in those situations.

What is my responsibility of items being returned?
Responsibility for equipment remains with the renter from the time of receipt to time of return. Tables and chairs should be knocked down, stacked and ready for pickup in same location that they were dropped off. All china, silverware, glassware, etc. items are to be food-free and repacked in the same containers in which they were received. Linens should be refuse-free and placed in laundry bags provided, please return them in the laundry bags. Mildewed linens returned in plastic bags will be charged to the customer.

What happens if something is broken, missing or damaged?
We will contact you promptly if any items are broken, missing, or damaged, including bins, crates and laundry bags. We will allow 72 hours to locate any items that may have been misplaced. We do charge secured credit card replacement value for any and all missing, broken, damaged and weather damaged items. Be sure equipment is secured when not in use and protected from weather. If an item can be repaired, we only charge repair cost.

Do you deliver outside of business hours?
Our regular delivery hours are 8am-8pm 7 days a week, including holidays. 
For an additional charge, delivery and/or pick-up service can be provided outside of these hours. 
Specific time requests are also available for an additional charge.

What if I return items late?
If circumstances arise beyond your control, please notify our office immediately. Due to the prep time to make items ready for next order we require items be returned as specified. Additional charges may be applied.

Do you have a showroom?
Yes. Always Invited Event Rental offers a 1000 sq ft showroom. Ample room to set up mock tables, sample our items, shop instore and our weddingstar site, free Wifi, free beverages. ALL that and more in a stress free, comfortable environment.
